Skills of hitting in the long grass area

If you accidentally put the ball into the long grass area, tall and thick grass must make you feel very difficult. Look at these methods, they may be helpful to you.

Right selection of clubs are the priority, choose a Callaway Legacy Aero Driver with a little large loft or irons. Long irons are not appropriate to be used in the long grass area..If you can see more than one third part of the ball expose grass, then I suggest you use a driver or fairywood. In general, the smaller round 5, 7 or 9-wood the obstacles to be smaller when through the grass, easier to play also.If the ball was covered by grass completely, you should choose #6 of your Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Irons or smaller ones.Large angle are beneficial to help you hit the ball through the air and back to the green.

No matter what clubs you are using, whent hit the ball, you should try to take divot as little as possible. To ensure the club head speed is decreasing when touch the ball, instead of trying to dig the ball by swing. The key point to success in hitting in the long grass area is between the club face and the ball, the divot should be as little as possible. The reduced swing speed can ensure the club face is as clean as as possible. What you will do is to hit ball to he air by the circle created by the angle of your club and the reduced swing speed.

Do not hit big fade or big braw ball ,the densier and deeper grass is, the more straight the ball will fly. From swing to hitting the ball, there will be much obstacle from the grass, these obstacles will offset the rotary, which means that ball fly lower than usual, and straight. If you hit a lot of grass before you hit the ball, club seat asy to get stuck, your hitting probably will be labeled as a pull shot. Try to make your club head keep clean.

The ball's location is critical, this is relative to your location. If the ball is too forward, that means there will be a lot of grass in the middle, too back means too small angle. If you choose longer irons, the location of the ball should be in the center and left slightly. If shorter irons, then it should be in the middle.

If you swing the method is not very formal, then you need to experiment repeatedly to find out the point for your to hit, be careful not to let your Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Irons through too much grass.
